Software built in Chennai,
used worldwide

Databus builds focused management software for institutions and businesses — one company, a growing family of products, each shaped for how its world actually works. We started by going deep on education and property, and we're now extending into the tools every organisation needs: an AI chatbot, a CRM and an HRMS.

Who we are

What Databus is

Databus — registered as Databus Technology Solutions and headquartered in Chennai, India — builds management software for institutions and businesses worldwide. Rather than stretch one generic platform across very different users, we build focused products. Today that's five: SchoolDeck for schools, CampusAlly for colleges and universities, TutorDesk for coaching centres, EstateDeck for property management, and LiveLoop for browser-based virtual classrooms and video.

Next, we're broadening from education and property into horizontal business tools — an AI chatbot, a CRM and an HRMS are in development. Every product shares the same engineering and the same standard for how data is handled, while fitting its own audience properly.

Available today

Five products, one standard

Each one is its own focused tool — pick the one built for your world.

On the roadmap

What we're building next

Three new products in development, extending Databus from education and property into the tools every organisation runs on. These aren't generally available yet.

In development

AI Chatbot

A conversational assistant for customer and student support — answering routine questions, handling enquiries and routing the rest to a human, in plain language.

In development

CRM

A customer relationship platform for sales and outreach — leads, pipeline, follow-ups and contact history, built to connect with the products you already run.

In development

HRMS

A human resource system for people, payroll and attendance — onboarding, leave, salary runs and records, for teams of any size.

Why we exist

Built close to the work, wherever the work is

A lot of business software starts generic and assumes everyone will bend to fit it. The result is a tool that almost works, and a team that quietly keeps a parallel set of spreadsheets to cover the gaps.

We started Databus to build the other way around — close to the work. We went deep on education and property first, learning to fit the exact payment methods, languages and rules our customers operate under instead of forcing a one-size-fits-all template. That discipline is what makes the software travel: the same product can adapt to a different market's currency, language and data-protection law rather than pretending one country is the whole world.

And rather than one bloated suite, we build a family of focused products. A class teacher, a registrar, a property manager — and soon a sales rep or an HR lead — each deserve software that speaks their language. So each Databus product goes deep on its own world, while sharing the engineering and the data-handling standard underneath.

How we build

The principles behind the products

Focused, not bloated

A family of products, each built for one audience, instead of a single suite that does everything badly. Depth where it matters beats breadth nobody uses.

Local by design, global by reach

We build to each market's payment methods, currencies, languages and rules — so the software fits where it's used instead of assuming one country is the default.

Honest about what software can do

We track and flag; we don't claim to predict outcomes or guarantee results. Data carries proof on every entry, and the final call stays with the people accountable for it.

Data held in trust

Student records, tenant details and ledgers are sensitive data. We keep them in a chosen region, access-controlled and backed up — and we never sell them.

Built with the people using it

The words on screen are the ones our users already use, named by what people control rather than how the system is built — so the product is learnable on day one.

Pay for what you switch on

Pricing is modular, with no lock-in. A small team and a large institution draw from the same catalogue and pay only for what they use.

Data & trust

What we promise about your data

No system can promise data is impossible to misuse — but here's the standard we hold.

Hosted in your region

Data is hosted in a region you choose, backed up, and recoverable.

Privacy-law aligned

Handled in line with the applicable data-protection law for each market, with consent where required.

Role-based access

Every login is logged and limited by role — you can show who saw what.

Never sold

We don't sell your data or run ads against it. Gateways process cards; we don't store card numbers.

About Databus · FAQs

Questions people ask about us

What is Databus?

A software company — registered as Databus Technology Solutions, headquartered in Chennai, India — that builds focused management software for institutions and businesses worldwide. Today: SchoolDeck, CampusAlly, TutorDesk, EstateDeck and LiveLoop. In development: an AI chatbot, a CRM and an HRMS.

Where is Databus based and who does it serve?

Headquartered in Chennai, India, and used by institutions and businesses worldwide. The platform adapts to the payment rails, languages, currencies and data-protection rules of the markets it serves rather than assuming a single country.

What products does Databus make?

Five available today: SchoolDeck (school ERP), CampusAlly (college and university ERP), TutorDesk (coaching software), EstateDeck (property management), and LiveLoop (virtual classroom and video). Each is a separate, focused product — not modules of one suite. An AI chatbot, CRM and HRMS are on the roadmap.

What new products is Databus building?

Three are in development: an AI chatbot for customer and student support, a CRM for sales and relationship management, and an HRMS for people, payroll and attendance. These aren't generally available yet — the five current products are. For early access or updates, write to office@databus.co.

Why separate products instead of one suite?

A school, a university, a coaching centre and a property manager have genuinely different workflows and vocabularies — and a CRM or HRMS buyer is different again. Each product is shaped for its own audience while sharing the engineering and data-handling standard underneath, so each one fits properly.

Is Databus only for India?

No. It's headquartered in India and started by serving Indian institutions deeply, which taught us to build close to local rules rather than retrofit a foreign product. That approach travels: the platform adapts to each market's payment methods, currencies, languages and laws, so it can serve organisations worldwide.

How does Databus handle data and privacy?

Customer data — records, ledgers, and soon CRM and HR data — is treated as sensitive data, handled in line with the applicable data-protection law for each market. It's hosted in a chosen region, access-controlled, backed up and never sold. No software can promise data is impossible to misuse, but access is logged and role-based. Gateways process card data; we don't store card numbers.

How do I contact Databus?
