Four claims you won't find on this page

  • We don't claim end-to-end encryption. LiveLoop uses DTLS-SRTP, which encrypts media between the browser and our server — strong transport security, and the WebRTC standard. But the server can process the media (that's how recording and transcription work), so calling it end-to-end encrypted would be false. We name the mechanism instead of dressing it up.
  • We don't claim native apps. LiveLoop is browser-only by design. There is no desktop or mobile app to install, because the whole value is that nobody has to install anything. We won't pretend that's a downloadable product.
  • We don't claim conference-room hardware support. No SIP, no H.323, no boardroom video systems. That's genuinely outside what a browser-based platform does, and a generic enterprise tool may serve you better there.
  • We don't do surveillance-style "engagement scoring." We report observable facts — who joined, for how long, who spoke — on the insights page. We don't assign students an attention score or a sentiment rating, because those are guesses dressed as data, and they're inappropriate for minors.
