This is the full LiveLoop feature map. Read the one-line summary. Click the page you actually need. We won't make you scroll for it.

The LiveLoop features hub is the index of every capability inside LiveLoop — browser-based video conferencing software from Databus, Chennai. Sixteen features are listed across four categories: access & quality, AI & intelligence, collaboration tools, and scale & scheduling. Every feature is included in the per-host licence; higher tiers add capacity, not unlock new features. Each card on this page links to a dedicated deep page for that feature.

Same set of features for everyone

Every feature is in every plan

LiveLoop does not lock features into "premium tiers". The starter plan gets AI summaries, live translation, breakout rooms, webinars — everything. Higher tiers add capacity — more concurrent hosts, larger webinar audience caps, longer recording retention — not access to a different feature set.

Frequently asked questions

Ten questions about the feature set

How many features does LiveLoop have?

LiveLoop ships with sixteen core features, grouped into four categories: access and video quality, AI and intelligence, collaboration tools, and scale and scheduling. Each feature has a dedicated page describing the mechanism, the workflow it fits, and the audience it serves. No feature is paywalled into a "premium tier" — they are all part of the per-host licence.

Are all LiveLoop features available on every plan?

Yes. LiveLoop does not gate features behind tiers. Every host licence includes all sixteen capabilities — instant join, HD video, AI summaries, transcription, live translation, insights, breakout rooms, screen sharing, recording, moderation, webinars, and calendar sync. Higher tiers add capacity (more concurrent hosts, larger webinar audience caps, longer recording retention) — not access to a different feature set.

Which features are specifically built for Indian schools and colleges?

Four features were designed specifically for the Indian education context. First, instant join with no app download — solves the parent-on-an-old-Android-phone problem during PTMs. Second, adaptive bitrate that preserves audio when video drops — for semi-urban and rural connections. Third, live caption translation in 30+ languages including Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Bengali, Marathi, and Kannada. Fourth, native integration with SchoolDeck, CampusAlly, and TutorDesk — so attendance and recordings land in the ERP automatically.

Does LiveLoop have an AI feature that takes notes for me?

Yes. The AI meeting assistant transcribes the session in real time using automatic speech recognition (ASR), then runs extractive summarisation on the transcript after the session ends. You receive a short summary, an action-item list, and a searchable transcript inside your email and inside SchoolDeck or CampusAlly if those are connected. The transcript is the canonical record — the summary is a digest of it, not a separate AI-generated narrative.

How does live translation work in LiveLoop?

Live translation is driven by the same ASR pipeline that produces the transcript. The system transcribes the spoken audio in the source language, then renders translated subtitles in the participant's chosen language as an overlay on the video stream. Each participant can pick their caption language independently — so a class of students can watch the same English lecture with Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, or Bengali captions, each according to their preference. Read the live translation deep page →

Can I run a webinar for hundreds of participants?

Yes. Webinar mode supports hundreds of participants with one-way broadcast (host on camera, audience watching), in-meeting Q&A with upvoting, polls, live chat, and registration links. Common uses include college open-house events, coaching-centre demo classes for prospective students, school orientation broadcasts, AGM-style trust meetings, corporate town halls, and product launches. Audience size is governed by the plan tier — host count is not.

Which devices and operating systems does LiveLoop support?

LiveLoop runs on Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge on Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS. There is no native app to install on any platform — every participant joins through the browser. This is intentional: every install step is a place where a parent or non-technical participant drops off. By running on WebRTC inside the browser, the platform supports any device that supports a modern browser, including school-issued tablets, parents' shared family phones, and laptops in college labs.

What happens to recordings — where are they stored?

Recordings are written to cloud storage as the session runs. After the session ends, the host receives a link to view, download (MP4), or share the recording. If LiveLoop is connected to SchoolDeck or CampusAlly, the recording is automatically attached to the timetable period and shared with absentees in their parent app or LMS. Recording retention varies by plan tier — see the pricing page for the breakdown.

Can I use LiveLoop's calendar features with Google Calendar or Outlook?

Yes. LiveLoop calendar sync is bi-directional with both Google Calendar and Outlook. You can schedule a LiveLoop meeting from inside the calendar app — it appears with a working LiveLoop link — or schedule it inside LiveLoop and have it propagate to the calendar. Recurring meetings keep the same join link for the life of the series. Reminders fire through both Google or Outlook (the calendar layer) and LiveLoop (the platform layer).

Where do I go to read about a specific feature in depth?

Every feature on this page links to a dedicated deep page. The deep pages cover the mechanism behind the feature, the workflow it fits, who it is built for, comparisons with alternatives, and an FAQ specific to that feature. The list of all feature deep pages: Instant Join, HD Video & Audio, Cross-Platform, Security, AI Assistant, Transcription, Translation, Insights, Breakout Rooms, Screen Sharing, Recording, Moderation, Webinars, and Calendar.
