What is gated community management software?

How is this different from an RWA on EstateDeck?

How does visitor entry work at the gate?
Residents pre-approve guests in the app, and the guard verifies arrivals or sends an OTP for one-off visitors. Aadhaar is masked to the last four digits per the UIDAI circular, and data is captured under DPDP §6. The visitor management feature page owns the full workflow.
Can vehicles enter without stopping?
Yes. With ANPR, the camera reads a registered plate and the barrier lifts — no stopping, no RFID tag. Unknown vehicles are flagged to the guard. EstateDeck keeps the registered-vehicle list per unit; the ANPR feature page owns the gate mechanism.
Does it track guard patrols?
Yes. Guards scan QR/NFC checkpoints each round, every scan timestamped and guard-ID-tagged, so a missed round raises an alert. Logs are §65B-admissible electronic records. The patrol monitoring feature page owns route compliance in depth.
Can I prove the security desk was manned?
Yes. Guards and other staff mark attendance by biometric, RFID or QR, with rosters and overtime feeding payroll. The committee can see the gate was staffed across the night. The staff attendance feature page owns the rostering mechanism.
Must the security agency be licensed?
Yes. Any private security agency must hold a PSARA 2005 licence, with guard verification and training under the PSARA Model Rules 2006. EstateDeck records the agency's licence so an expiry is visible to the committee in advance.
How do residents book amenities?
Residents see live availability for the clubhouse, pool, gym, court or party hall, book a slot, and the fee is handled with it. Clashes are blocked and the committee gets usage reports. The amenity booking feature page owns the slot and payment rules.
Will it scale to a large township?
Yes. Pricing is per unit, so a 200-unit community and a 2,000-unit township get the same modules and pay for what they have. Larger campuses simply run more of the stack — multiple ANPR gates, several amenity blocks, full rosters and patrol routes.
How is resident and visitor data protected?
Resident, vehicle, visitor and biometric records are personal data under the DPDP Act 2023, phasing in from 13 November 2025. EstateDeck captures §6 notice-and-consent at collection and masks any shared Aadhaar to the last four digits per the UIDAI circular.
