TutorDesk is coaching centre management software for India, built as ten connected modules — fees, batches, live classes, exams, admissions CRM, video LMS, parent communication, analytics, teacher management and a lesson planner. They share one database, so a student you add once shows up everywhere. This page summarises what each module does; tap any module to open its full page.

TutorDesk is built around how Indian coaching actually runs — not a foreign tool with rupees bolted on. UPI-first fees, batch-based scheduling, WhatsApp parent alerts, and support for JEE, NEET, SSC, UPSC and board patterns are built in from the start.
Each module below has a short summary and a link to its full page with screenshots and a demo. Looking for real-world stories and outcomes instead of mechanics? See TutorDesk Solutions. Need school software? That's SchoolDeck; for colleges, CampusAlly.
Collect tuition fees by UPI, card or net banking with instant receipts and automatic reminders. Generate GST-compliant CGST/SGST invoices and export to Tally — no chasing parents, no manual receipt book.
Open the fee module →Run many batches across subjects, teachers and rooms from one timetable. Conflicts are caught before they happen, substitutes are assigned in a tap, and students hear about any change automatically.
Open the scheduling module →Launch live sessions from the timetable. Students join from the app or browser, attendance is marked by join time, and every session records to the cloud so absentees can catch up. Hybrid batches work out of the box.
Open the live-class module →Run mock tests in JEE, NEET, UPSC and SSC patterns online, or scan offline OMR sheets with a phone camera. Rank lists and chapter-wise weak-area reports are ready the moment results publish.
Open the assessment module →Capture every enquiry — website, Google Ads, Instagram, walk-in or referral — and see which source actually enrols. Automate WhatsApp follow-ups and turn more enquiries into admissions. Student records and documents are kept in the student CRM.
Open the enquiry CRM →Share notes, PDFs and recorded lectures batch-wise — the JEE batch sees JEE material, the NEET batch sees NEET material. Recordings stream only inside the app, scoped to the enrolled batch and watermarked with each viewer's name so leaks are traceable.
Open the LMS module →A note on honesty: no software can make a video impossible to screen-record — someone can always point another phone at the screen. TutorDesk controls access and adds an identifying watermark; it does not claim to prevent screen capture.
Parents get automatic WhatsApp updates for absences, fees, results and schedule changes — through DLT-registered templates, not a teacher's personal number. Teachers and students chat inside the app with no numbers shared and full management visibility.
Open secure chat →Each student's marks and attendance build a trend over time, and the system flags those at risk — falling attendance plus dropping scores — before they quit. Owners get a live view of revenue, dues, batch occupancy and teacher load. Weekly parent reports live in progress tracking.
Open the analytics module →Classes taught are logged from the timetable, so monthly pay — fixed, per-class or revenue-share — calculates itself, with payslips generated automatically. Optional tutor-student matching by subject, pace and schedule helps reduce poor-fit drop-offs.
Open teacher management →Plan lessons against the real JEE, NEET, CBSE or State Board syllabus; the planner tracks coverage and suggests a sequence weighted by exam importance. A smart assistant auto-replies to routine queries — fee dates, timetable, results — and routes anything complex to your staff.
Open the lesson planner →From a tutor teaching from home to a multi-city institute — each picks the modules that fit.
Multi-batch operations with complex exam patterns. Lean on the exam engine (OMR + online), batch scheduling, UPI fees, analytics and the video LMS.
High volumes and heavy walk-ins. Lean on the admissions CRM, instalment fee management, batch scheduling and the GS/CSAT/CGL test engine.
Solo tutors and small centres. Lean on UPI fees, attendance, WhatsApp parent alerts and progress tracking. Per-active-student pricing means small operations pay less.

What coaching owners and admins ask when comparing TutorDesk modules.
TutorDesk has ten modules that share one database: (1) UPI fee collection with GST invoicing and Tally export, (2) multi-batch timetable scheduling with substitute management, (3) built-in live online classes with auto-attendance and cloud recordings, (4) an online MCQ and mobile-OMR exam engine for JEE/NEET/UPSC/SSC patterns, (5) an admissions CRM with lead-source tracking and WhatsApp follow-ups, (6) an access-controlled study-material and video LMS, (7) WhatsApp and in-app parent communication, (8) progress tracking with at-risk flagging plus owner analytics, (9) teacher management with per-class, fixed and revenue-share pay, and (10) an exam-syllabus-mapped lesson planner with a smart assistant for routine queries. Data entered once flows across all modules.
Yes. The fee module auto-calculates CGST and SGST on tuition invoices with the institute's GSTIN, so invoices are GST-compliant. Fee data exports to CSV and Excel formats compatible with Tally ERP and QuickBooks, so there's no manual re-entry in your accounting software.
Yes. The assessment module supports mobile OMR scanning — print standard bubble sheets, students fill them offline, and a teacher scans completed sheets with an Android or iOS camera for instant marks and a rank list. The same module runs fully online mocks in JEE Main, JEE Advanced, NEET UG, UPSC Prelims, SSC CGL and custom patterns, with configurable marking and section-wise timers.
Recorded lectures stream only inside the TutorDesk app behind a student login, are scoped to the enrolled batch, and are watermarked with the viewer's name to discourage re-sharing. Access is removed automatically when a batch or subscription ends. TutorDesk does not claim to make screen-recording impossible — no software can guarantee that — but access control plus identifying watermarks make leaks traceable and limit who can reach the content.
Yes. Multi-branch institutes run from a single Head Office login. Branch managers see only their own branch, while the owner's analytics view compares fee collection, attendance, batch occupancy and student performance across all branches in real time — without waiting for manual reports from each location.
Yes. Parents get automatic WhatsApp updates for absences, fee dues, published test results and schedule changes, sent through DLT-registered transactional templates under TRAI TCCCPR 2018 — not from a teacher's personal number. The detailed workflow lives on the parent-communication page.
Yes. Fee reports, attendance logs, student lists, exam results, batch data and teacher pay records all export to CSV and Excel. Fee exports are formatted for Tally ERP and QuickBooks, the accounting tools most Indian coaching institutes already use.
Yes. Large JEE and NEET institutes use the OMR exam engine, video LMS, multi-batch analytics and multi-branch management. Government-exam centres use the CRM and online test engine. Small tuition centres and individual tutors use UPI fee collection, WhatsApp alerts and progress tracking. Pricing is per active student, so small operations pay proportionally less with no lock-in.
Yes. The built-in live-class module launches sessions from the timetable; students join via the app or browser with no separate download. Attendance is marked automatically by join time, and sessions record to the cloud without any teacher action so absent students can replay them.
Teachers plan lessons against the actual JEE, NEET, CBSE or State Board syllabus. The planner tracks coverage in real time — showing which chapters are done and which are pending — and suggests a topic sequence weighted by exam importance and time left before the exam. Last year's plans can be cloned in one click and adjusted for the new academic year.
